Recommended use: Traditional Chinese Medicine used to relieve symptoms due to stagnated liver-qi, blood deficiency and disharmony between the liver and stomach, such as pain at hypochondriac regions and dizziness.

Risk Information: Do not use if you have (1) hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder. (2) yin deficiency cough or liver fire ascending to the head; (3) pregnant or breastfeeding; (4) diarrhea or hemorrhagic disease; (5) hypemenorrhoea/profuse menstrual flow heavy periods; (6) allergy/hypersensitivity to members of the apiaceae/Umbelliferae family (anise, caraway, carrot, celery, dill parsley); (7) taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glyocosides, cortiscosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have (1) diabetes, gallbladder or bile-duct obstruction, hiatal hernia, aid reflux, or impaired liver function; (2) symptoms persist or worsen; (3) taking birth control pills, blood thinners/anticoagulants, hormone replacement therapy; (4) family history of cancer; (5) sunken spleen qi, or cold from deficiency with spermatorrhea. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if (1) menstruation is delayed or absent, or experience increased menstrual bleeding time; (2) experience breast pain, discomfort and/or tenderness; (3) allergic reactions occur.
